OK, so I posted a menu last week and this week it went right out the window! We ate out a few times, at chili a couple of times, ate separate one night, and had a birthday dinner thrown in the mix too. I think instead of trying to be so regimented and saying Monday X Tuesday Y Wednesday Z, I will just make a list of different menus and items I see in magazines and online that I’d like to try next. That way we can try new dishes, but I won’t feel guilty not “sticking” to a menu.
A few new items I’d like to try include:
- French Toast with homemade Blueberry Sauce (a weekend breakfast idea that I found a while back on the Weight Watchers website)
- P.F. Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wraps
- Bourbon Chicken
- Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta
As the weeks go by, I hope to try more and more new recipes. Who wants the same old, same old every week? 😉
