I realize it is already the 7th of February, but who says we can only start goals the first of the month?Β π
Here are my goals to accomplish between now and March 7th.
Health
- Zumba at least 4 times a week
- Participate in at least 2 zumba events
Work
- Get better at checking everything at work before sending it out
- Clear off my desk daily
School
- Get homework finished early for my English class
General
- Work on Ancestry 10 minutes a day
- Be more diligent about posting (WordPress) every day
- Build a vision board
What is a vision board?
A vision board is where you take pictures (magazines, drawings, anything) of items you want (i.e.: car, physically fit, new career, etc.) and put them on a board. It goes along with the Law of Attraction. Here is a post about it on Erin Pavlina’s blog.
Good goals ….I have yet to check out Zumba! A goal for me this month…Thanks!
Oh you’re welcome! Just fair warning…zumba is very addictive! π
Sounds like a pretty good plan… Remind me, what is Zumba again? keep us posted on your efforts.
Listen, I have a blog hop going till Wednesday. Do join in. It’s my first one. π
Best,
Eliz
Zumba is a Latin dance exercise class. In a typical class, we burn about 450-500 calories per hour. Most classes are an hour, but every now & then we do a fundraiser (this month it’s for the American Heart Association) and have a 2 hour giant class with people from northeast Florida. Here is a link to my instructors practicing. It’s pretty addicting and I went down 2 pants sizes in about a month after first starting it. I’m now down to a size medium, which I haven’t worn in 5 years. π I’ll check out your blog hop!
Good luck with the zumba! I hear it’s very addictive… I go circuit training once a week, boxercise once a week, and try and fit in a run somewhere too. I’m yet to try zumba though..
Vision board sounds like a wonderfully creative idea. Taking inspiration from your 30 day trial, I might give both of them a go myself!
Check it out for sure. π Zumba is extremely addictive! I could go 6 days a week no problem, but my husband likes to see me every now & then. Now if they had it at 6 in the morning, I’d be all in! Did you check out Erin Pavlina’s post about vision boards? She has quite a few pictures of them plus you could always search Google images for vision boards and see what inspiration pops up.
They’ve just started a load of zumba classes in my gym, so I think I’ll make some inquiries tomorrow after boxercise.
I read Erin’s article, it was very inspirational. Infact, so was her whole blog.
I’m definitely starting a vision board.
Thanks for the tip, very much appreciated!
